But seriously.. I tried listening to Torsha's B N D couple of times... I didnt get WOWed.. It was great. Sur was not 100% perfect but good enough to get noticed positively. She sang effortlessly which was a good thing. But it didnt wow me.. I know AX will send me back "aankh band karke suno !" So I tried a b k and felt the same.
I think I should stop growing earfones out of my ears! Kaan be-kaan ho rahe hain.. or maybe I am retarded :-(
I ahve tried to catch up with II4 as much as possible,the ambience,less drama, some pretty good singing makes this show worth watching,at this present point of time!!!
I liked Torsha from the first episode..she has a excellent voice,heavy with a khanak..my kind of voice!!This song she chose was wrong..Lata jis voice has immortalised this song and anyone singing this is gonna fall short!!
Having said that..she was off-key,there was no need for extra harkatein in this song and the song didnt suit her voice at all!!{normally..i believe anyone is capable of singing any song]..she went into falsetto [it wasnt very obvious..bcoz of her heavy voice]in the mukhda itself,bcoz she couldnt handle the higher range...anyways...she wasnt great in this song..but shes a voice to watch out for...i really love her voice and she has been very good in other songs!!!
I like Anu maliks comments..they r usually spot on!!!
On sat episode..i dunno y nirali was praised so much..the pitching was totally wrong,the song sounded totally besura and her diction was pathetic...her other songs over the other episodes were really good!!! Check it out Doc saab!!!
